It's not easy being a teenager; between school, chores, saving the world, attending social gatherings, it's a lot to manage.
Meg wouldn't trade it for anything...almost. All she wants is some recognition, to loose the "Sidekick" tag and be her own Hero. But Committee have some, honestly, outdated ideas about who gets to wear the Hero mantle. And her Hero, and best friend, Derrick isn't being helpful in the slightest.
When her almost-boyfriend goes missing, will she be able to prove she has what it takes, while simultaneously solving the mystery? Or will she find more than she bargained for?

Even if it's that hard-core and determined badass girl from the school or the one who stays hidden in the shadows with books piled up right in front of him. In a normal high school filled with players, jocks, Heartbreakers and badass personalities, a boy with blue eyes, gel soaked brown hair and adorable face gets claimed by the most feared girl in leather jackets. Lucas Clark was not your average teenage boy. Mean it, he was not. All around you could see boys of his age probably flirting, playing games, hanging out with friends and throwing parties like their life depended on them. But he was a nerd. He was a straight A student. And she was the bad girl of the school, Claire Cooper. When one meet turns out to be Claire claiming him hers, he is left devastated and knowing that not to mess with "The Claire Cooper", Lucas has no option but to give in. It doesn't help that she's being followed by dark figures no one else sees. When a man with incredible speed, unbelievable power, strange old-fashion clothes, and an obnoxious personality threatens her life, she discovers she is a rare "two-worlder" -a person with one parent from Earth and the other from Earth Prime. She escapes another attack by jumping through a portal to the alternate dimension, much to the chagrin of her protector. As if managing without electricity, cars, and phones on the more Edwardian world weren't enough stress; she finally meets her long-absent father, a scientist in the top-secret field of Trans-Dimensional Travel. Things get more complicated when she realizes her best friend's father, or rather the Earth Prime version of him, might have been the person that orchestrated the assaults. ___ Thanks for reading!
