Nothing lasts forever. Not even the Solar System.

Dubbed as the elite space pilots of Atlatian, Will Thurst and Gail Lynn are one of the many people who work for Atlatian. They were pilots whose duty were to make semi-annual rounds at space, installing the so-called atmospheric shields made to shield Earth from the Sun's unforgiving solar heat. Simple as it was, their lives would soon completely change when they realize they have a greater purpose not only for Atlatian but for the whole world.

Join them as they try to make a way to escape the Solar System's inevitable end and create an entirely new world for them and the generations to come.

But could they pull it off?

Humanity. It goes beyond the common definition of: "a collective group of humans". It's a sense of benevolence. One may act; 'for the sake of humanity' and there are; 'crimes against humanity'. We're supposed to be proud of the human race, yet... humans are self-destructive. A group of elite alien race came to Earth and proved once and for all that we were our own worst enemy. They weren't wrong. but it was too late. They managed to save Earth- eradicating pollution and reversing global warming but they killed anyone who got in their way and indoctrinated the rest. Those who remained revolted. World War III resulted- killing the planet. The War ended but the battle was not won. The fight continues on, despite the destroyed society and Earth we call home. It's a relentless fight between those who want the world to go back to the way it was and those who still fight to hold on to their humanity- no matter what. We self-destruct but we also fight for what's right. It's a delicate balance- it's an art form. {COMPLETED} Samantha hasn't touched Earth in 16 years. She has always dreamt of finding her biological family on Earth and meeting them for the first time again. But she can't. Samantha can't dream anymore, she is apart of the cause to save the human race. The year is B35 and the Earth is becoming overpopulated every day. The governments have combined forces to try to find a solution before Earth is too crowded. They have tried sending spaceships into space and leave some of the population up there, but the space crafts required to have humans live there forever is not possible. They have tried making underwater pockets so people can live under the sea, but the underwater pockets are too fragile to maintain and easily every citizen can drown. Hope was almost given up. Until scientists found a planet only couple light years away that is a sister planet to Earth. No one has ever been on this planet before and is unsure what will people find there. So on the year B18, all children born within that year were taken from their families and sent into a spaceship to be trained and prepared for the landing of this new planet. Samantha and her squad are flying through space and preparing themselves both mentally and physically for the adventures of this new planet. No one knows what is going to happen when the spaceship lands on this foreign land.

If we stayed there any longer, we would have died. Earth was no longer our home, but instead a barren waste land from which we had to escape. Its calm blue oceans were replaced by big empty pits, and the green grass which used to cover our planet has now died, leaving all ground we tread on brown. The sun was getting too close to earth. It was going to explode soon, meaning we would have to leave. Either that, or die on what we called home. Not everyone left, not everyone was saved, but most of us are here in our new home. It's a huge space station called 'Earth Resides'. All of us who made it here, though, refer to it as our last resort. My names Mia. I've been here nine years.
