The darkness lurks in every corner of this world and the next. A terrible evil has descended our world, death and disease run wild and everything we know is peering over the edge of chaos and anarchy. Corruption is rotting away at the very foundations of our society and when the shadows advance there is nowhere to hide.

The home of The Sanctus was created with our world, these beings were blessed with divine power. The ability to bring balance and good to earth and protect and nurture the light all beings are blessed with. It was their job to protect us, from the darkness, from ourselves. But now it seems they have abandoned us. Darkness settles on the souls of the vulnerable and future seems bleak and terrifying. When the divine surrender to profane and the lines between right and wrong seem to blur in the inky night, it is left to the tainted to search for the last light. The last hope for humanity. For all of us.
