Charles McMasters has spent the last 10 years mining asteroids for Ceres Corporation. His only companion is a cranky AI named Maude. Finally, after years of trying, McMasters has landed the mother load. The only thing standing between him and a comfortable beach on Earth is one final run to Ceres. Unfortunately for McMasters and Maude this run will be anything but routine. A simple equipment malfunction leads to a chain events that forces Charlie to fight for his very life and for the survival of the humans living in the belt.
