Mate of the Dragon God
Auria is meant to be wed-- at least, her parents believe so. It's a difficult world for an unmarried woman, and her parents only want what's best for her: a safe, well-fed life during the cold, wintry months. But, Auria doesn't want to be shackled down to a man... she doesn't know what she wants, or if she's even allowed to want more. If only she were born a noble, she'd be able to spend her days reading. She could read REAL literature, not just biblical propaganda spread by the church. Auria wants a life different than hers, but she knows her place--she has no choice. Determining that fighting fate is useless, she decides to give in to her parents' demands. It's during the church's solstice event that her new life plan unravels when the very God her people worship takes center stage. ----- Cyrus was one of the first creatures to ever exist. Still, he was mateless. He has watched his brothers one by one find the missing pieces of their souls and yet he remained alone. His despair lulled him to sleep... but something has stirred his desires. 🔞18+, sexual themes and mature scenes. ~~Mate of the Dragon God is a romance fantasy set in an old-world realm, filled with magical creatures of all sorts ~~

Dear Reader, I challenge you to a duel! Yes, exactly! Prepare for a battle. The battle for your heart and soul. I'm about to whisk you away and immerse you in a world brimming with magic and secrets. But fear not, on this adventure through the wilderness, you'll be accompanied by Klelia and... that's a surprise :)) Your task is simple. You have to survive... Are you ready to take up the challenge? "I'm dead. I died back in that hut. I don't exist anymore. And now, after everything that's happened, you want to talk?" I raised my eyebrows in surprise. "Who am I to you?" He closed the distance in an instant. I had nowhere to escape; there was a wall behind me, and he stood before me. "Are you really asking who you are to me, Klelia? You are my sun and moon. The source of my suffering and pleasure. My oxygen. I breathe you every day. Every second of life without you is worthless. Without you, there is no me. That's what you are to me. My private universe. I want to immerse myself in you. To lose myself." "I'm dangerous. At any moment, I could..." Tears welled up in my eyes. "I'm not like you." "You're no more dangerous than me," he interrupted, kissing me hungrily, as if he were desperate for air. P.S. Grab your best sword and cape. Despite appearances, desert nights can be cold.
