At the young age of ten Elyse Hutchkin has an accident, which puts her in a coma, when she is told that her mother is dead. She wakes up different but she quickly learns how to hide IT, loosing her friends in the process except for her bestfriend, Jodie Thompson.

During her sophmore year of high school, she soon learns that there are weirder things out there than her and people are keeping secrets from her. Will she learn any of them? Can she keep herself out of trouble, especially with the NORMAL high school drama? Will she find love for the boy that is pushing it at her the most?
