Rosalynn is a 14-year-old girl who has had a normal life with normal friends and normal summers. That is until her dad gets a promotion and a bonus that takes them to California. During this summer she meets neighbor Kai. Kai becomes a close friend of hers very quickly. When a dangerous storm breaks out , Rose, Kai, and others are placed on an experimental ship until it's over. However, when the storm brings something dangerous over, they are forced to stay up longer. But when it crashes in an affected area, what must Rose and Kai do to survive?
