What's This Feeling? (( Lightbrush AU ))
(( Takes place around II2 EP12 to II2 Ep15!! ))
'If you ever feel like you're at the bottom of the ocean, just look at this crab, because that's where it lived!'
Those words circled in their head for the past several days since Paintbrush got eliminated. Disappointment, dejection, and regret was all they felt as they saw themselves appear on the screen, the words 'eliminated', plastered there in bold beside them.
But as Lightbulb walked towards them, Baxter resting on her palm, she whispered those words deemed magical to Paintbrush. The disappointment that once overwhelmed them then turned into something else.
Happiness. Acceptance.
And something other they couldn't quite tell - well, not right now.
And Lightbulb?
She was different as well. Not in a good way.
Sitting in Test Tube's lab, her bulb rested on her hands, reaching for another can of Dr.
Fizz.
'Lightbulb, that's your 23rd can already...'
The vial muttered, not even turning to look at Lightbulb, her gaze focused on the project she was working on.
'Is it about Paintbrush again?'
Fan's eyes met Lightbulb's dull ones, his voice laced in audible concern for her, his face plastered with a worried expression.
'W-what?? Of course not Fanster!'
But through her hurt eyes, Fan could tell she was lying through her teeth.
Lightbulb averted her gaze from the blogger's, heaving a sigh of frustration to herself.
An emotion. An emotion she never felt before.
About Paintbrush.
What could it be?
And after her elimination, Lightbulb finally knew what it was, and so did Paintbrush.
But neither of them thought the other felt the same way.
What would they do?
