Twelve took comfort in the soft green that would tint his vision whenever Nine spoke. Twelve always took comfort in that voice, in those colours. They meant safety, that Nine was close by and he'd look after him. That green meant protection.
So why was the green suddenly swarming his gaze? He couldn't see anything but an explosion of green. Green. Everything was green. Well, green up until everything went black.
