Bad Boy's Game
He lit his cigarette, I lit nothing. He drank alcohol, I drank water. He smirked, I smiled. He didn't love me, I didn't love him. He and I together wouldn't last a day. And then the game started... He said he found me intriguing, unique, and interesting because I didn't swoon over him. "You and me Grey, let's play a game. We'll date and in three months time I promise you will fall for me. When you fall in love with me between that time span, I win. If in any way you were to win I'll give up all the alcohol, cigarettes, and player ways." It was a game I wasn't willing to lose, but all games had accidents and consequences. It takes a broken heart to know how to break a heart.

Here she is. I can see the slope of her spine through that thin shirt. She's made of angles I ache to smooth with a hand, but I'd use my lips if she asked. I brush her knuckles with mine. Her skin is cold, but she flips her palm for more contact. I lace our fingers. It's enough to make her look at me. As those kaleidoscopic eyes meet mine, I hold my breath. Then she sets her lips just under my jaw. It rips the air from my lungs. It's the softest thing I've ever felt. "What was that for," I breathe. Coming out must be hard but only doing so because you can no longer hide your feelings for your bestfriend is unimaginable. A story about falling in love after a long time coming... * "I'm jealous? I'm controlling? You couldn't even let a guy touch me in there without pushing them away. You're not so innocent yourself Brandon. Don't look at me like that." He caught my chin forcing my eyes up to his again. "Or what?" I asked my voice shaking. I don't know what he was trying to say but it was all true. My breath came out jittery, staggered and just like that he was pressing his lips into mine with such pressure. I didn't move for a second too scared what the hell this was. I couldn't even think, did I want to kiss him back? Did I like this? I was staring wide eyed in shock at him still his eyes open to as he stayed perfectly still neither one of us moving. It Was Always You
"I'm sorry that I put you in this situation." "I'm not following." I really wasn't. "This. Us! What we did last night was reckless and so so perfect at the same time." He got up and walked over to me. "All I could think about was the look on your face. I couldn't sleep because I was thinking about the feel of your skin against mine." He came closer and now he was a breath away. "What are you saying?" I whispered. "I don't know." "I thought you didn't do girlfriends." "I don't." And just like that our lips met and the fire ignited within me again. _________________ You must think this is your typical love story with it's sickly sweet characters who slowly fall in love. In some aspects it is actually and in others it's the total opposite. This is the story of how Kate Reynolds fought to keep her broken family together as well as trying to manage her fast, wild and explosive love life. A modern, coming of age story of how an ordinary girl experiences all that she shouldn't and out of trying to fix everyone else, she tries to fix herself.
