For as long as Skai could remember she's had to force her anger down and take what her step-father dished out on a regular basis. All because of an incident that affected her entire life. When one night after Peter, her step-father, nearly took her life she meets Eric and Axel who do the one thing she's wished for her entire life: to be rescued from her own version of Hell. What she doesn't expect is for her life to change once again like it did all those years ago. With the help of a few unlikely friends and the one person capable of making her feel vulnerable, she will soon learn that her anger and fire that rages inside her isn't something she should fear but in fact one of her greatest strengths.
