(A poem I wrote inspired by looking at the moon. It's very dreamlike, and I'm even not sure what the meaning is myself, but I hope you all enjoy it.)

A man gazes at the the moon one night, a beautiful lady among the ocean of stars. Although in love, he is insecure of something within himself. She thinks otherwise.

R&J (G&A) // TRAGEDY

23 parts Complete Mature

I wrote this play for a man. Our long-distance relationship seemed like Romeo and Juliet's balcony scene. The story is based on the original Shakespearean work, but I tried to make it deeper to capture and cherish all of the moments we shared together. The play is full of metaphors, so don't take everything literally. Mostly, it is about my insecurities regarding the long-distance aspect, and the play actually came before we were able to see each other in real life. He wanted to see my poems, but I gave him something more precious-the most precious gift I was ever able to give.
