There is many things that could happen to someone. Cancer,death,old age,going blind,being deaf,living in poverty.  

 Riley Copeland has had none of this happen to her. She has had a loving mom and a loving dad up until he passed when she was 13. Her mom is a crazy parent who has enough love for her. Riley is super smart and pretty. She even teaches Pre-K students. 

In the bank sits 8 thousand dollars for a rainy day,and she lives in a good apartment,with everything she could ask for. She has always got what she wanted. 

Everything except,Jordan Mathews. 
 Jordan Mathews is the perfect husband and best friend. Riley has been his best friend for 20 years. He has been through his fathers death and his mothers imperfections. Through thick and thin he has managed a good life,with a good paying job as a Detective. Jordan has always had things hard,but Callie made them easy. 

Married for three years now they want a family. Jordan doesn't know that Riley has been in love with him for years. She wants him to be her wife,not Callie's.   

After a very long day at work and a bar,Riley finds herself pregnant. She doesn't want a baby,but she won't give the child up. She will take care of this child,without the unknown man that gave her this new life. She will bring this life into the world,with or without Jordan by her side.All Rights Reserved

He does, and the shooter aims his gun at Aaliyah. With Jack being deathly afraid of living without her, he comes out from where he was hiding and the shooter ends up shooting him in the chest. Aaliyah uses her last bit of strength to crawl to Jack and he kisses her before his eyes rolled to the back of his head. She lays on top of him, too weak to stay awake, and passes out while she hugs his body. When she wakes up in the hospital days later, the first thing she asks for is Jack. Her doctor finally gives the okay to see him, and he wakes up shortly after she gets there. He immediately asks if she's okay, and she assures him that she is. Jack continues to progress with healing, but Aaliyah finds out that he has a high chance of dying soon. When he does, she is heartbroken. Weeks later, Aaliyah finds out she's pregnant..
