There is many things that could happen to someone. Cancer,death,old age,going blind,being deaf,living in poverty.
Riley Copeland has had none of this happen to her. She has had a loving mom and a loving dad up until he passed when she was 13. Her mom is a crazy parent who has enough love for her. Riley is super smart and pretty. She even teaches Pre-K students.
In the bank sits 8 thousand dollars for a rainy day,and she lives in a good apartment,with everything she could ask for. She has always got what she wanted.
Everything except,Jordan Mathews.
Jordan Mathews is the perfect husband and best friend. Riley has been his best friend for 20 years. He has been through his fathers death and his mothers imperfections. Through thick and thin he has managed a good life,with a good paying job as a Detective. Jordan has always had things hard,but Callie made them easy.
Married for three years now they want a family. Jordan doesn't know that Riley has been in love with him for years. She wants him to be her wife,not Callie's.
After a very long day at work and a bar,Riley finds herself pregnant. She doesn't want a baby,but she won't give the child up. She will take care of this child,without the unknown man that gave her this new life. She will bring this life into the world,with or without Jordan by her side.

Death blends into the shadows like coal against the most atramentous sky. Death walks the earth with his cursed, monstrous and exotic features, his enticing voice and betraying alluring eyes. Death deceives, scratches, and plays with your mind, until you slowly and painfully loose your grip on reality. He'll make you believe he's a different person, that there's a sliver hope for him.
