Book 2 of the Wolfe Series ||WARNING|| There will be mature content in this book. ~~~ "Hey, I don't think you can smoke in here." I tell the mysterious man. He looks at me dead in the eyes and takes another puff of his joint before speaking. "I don't recall needing your permission." Well someone's in a crabby mood. "No need to be mean." I cross my arms and snap out my hip. My long curls falling down my shoulders. "No need to be in my business." I roll my eyes and he smirks at me like he finds this amusing. Get a load of this guy. ~~~ Amelia Daisy Parker "Lia", had just recently moved to New York, after her parents passing, to finish college. She didn't want a reminder of her terrible childhood that her parents brought her, especially her father. She cried when she had to leave Italy at the age of six for a job her dad had gotten in Tennessee. She couldn't quite remember why she was so sad, but she knew she didn't want to leave. She soon bumps into a tall, dark haired, green eyed man at a college basketball game who seems all too familiar. She wants to know him, but at the same time she doesn't. He's rude and grumpy all the time. He knows her, but she doesn't know that. Or at least, doesn't remember. She's all sunshine on the outside and he's all cruel both inside and out. There's no way they'll work. But she soon finds out that he was the very reason that once upon a time, she was a happy and giddy child. That once upon a time...she loved him.

*Completed* "I just want to know why." I say as I turn over, trying to find his figure through the dark of my room. "Why what?" He asks. "Why you're being so nice to me." I say quietly, vulnerability seeping into my words. "How we even became friends." He sighs, "I want to know how." I scrunch my brow. "How what?" His response is soft, the opposite of his sarcastic personality. "How you don't see it." ******* Reagan Holt was about as average as a high school student could be. She didn't play any sports, didn't participate in the popular activities, and wasn't the girl all the boys chased after. All except one boy. He wrote her a letter every week. Each letter described something new for him to love about her. Whether it was how beautiful her laugh was or how his heart swelled with every smile she gave, he never failed to write how he felt. So the two should be together, right? That's the way Reagan wants it, but there's just one problem. He signs his letters "Love, Anonymous." Now add an obnoxious, conceited, sex god into the equation and you get a teenage girl confused on who really loves her. The sweet, tender written anonymous lover, or the cocky, ignorant asshole? -REVIEWS- "You create such wonderful characters and I can't wait to see what happens next!" VampireSa5m41993 "Thank you for wonderful dogs and little brothers and eccentrically hormonal best friends!" -Nat-Attack "I am totally hooked on this book!" nbazinet "I love the way the story flows and that you have really roundabout characters. It's as if they're real while I'm reading!" life_is_beautiful115 "Your work is literally art." lemonsun123 "Every time I read this book it just makes me smile." Nicooole97 Cover by: -winterr

"You wanna say that again?" he hisses, his face inches from mine, his hands on either side of my head. I can't help but notice how blue his eyes are, and how they have specks of green in them and-focus, Ali! "Yes. I think you're an arrogant asshole. I think you're a player. I think everyone here is a fool for thinking you're hot, and I think you better get the fuck away from me before I hit you in your special place." He smirks and backs up, crosses his arms. His biceps flex, and I refuse to look. "You're going to feel terrible for saying that to me one day." he walks away. "I'll never feel terrible for saying the truth." I snap. I pick my bag up from the floor. "Bastard." Ali James is your everyday nerd. She's a straight A student. She has a 4.0 GPA. Drake Parker is your everyday bad boy. He drives a motorcycle. He's a player. He's a party animal. He's the school's hottie. His target is Ali James, because she is the only girl in all of Savannah Oak High School that doesn't think he's hot. Little does she know that she's his target because he's finally grown the balls to get the girl of his dreams. The cover was made by the amazing @nerdfpiper!!! If you need a cover, send her a message!
