A 17 year old girl named Sloan Brookes suffers from ADD. She's always getting picked on and bullied, and sometimes even abused by her father. Life's boulders are getting heavier on her shoulders every day, but she has one escape that sweeps her away from all her problems. Surfing. Feeling the cold water spray into her face and gliding on the waves takes all of it away. She never feels unwanted when she has her board to carry her and the waves to support her.
