In these modern times, the LGBTQIA+ community is oppressed by homophobes and transphobes. Trans girls and boys are being kicked out for coming out as trans, gay men and women are still afraid to come out because of what they think will happen if they do. Bisexuals, pansexuals, etc. are being told that they can't like both and those sexual orientations are just made up. Every day, these people are backed into a corner by homophobes and transphobes, scared of what will happen to them in the future.
Ash is a trans girl, born as a male at birth, but realized that she isn't a boy, but a girl. Her parents are furious when receiving the news from her and kick her out of their house. Now on the streets, she struggles to find shelter, food and water until she stumbles upon a group of girls who are like her. They were kicked out of their homes as well.
Together, these girls will build a strong and everlasting friendship as they try to help people in the LGBTQIA+ community find refuge.
*If I am mistaken on different aspects of sexual orientations or genders, please don't hate me. Even though I'm part of the community, I don't know everything. Just help me out and tell me what I was mistaken about politely please.*

It's 2018, and one of the most corrupt men, named John Greedman, had been elected as president of the United States. He was in his second year as president and the world had turned into a rewind of the years past: schools were segregated by numerous races, and it wasn't just the schools, it was every single public place in the world. The newest laws were against gay rights. Now, you weren't allowed to kiss your gay or lesbian partner in public and people would be allowed to harass you or even get you arrested for it. A group of gay rights activists start protesting against the government and the laws against love. Will they be able to win back their rights? Note: if this story sounds familiar or seems real, then you know what I'm hinting at. Here is something you need to know about me, and I don't care what you say about it: I strongly support gay rights and I believe you cannot put a boundary on love. If you say love is free, then why are you telling a man "oh you can't love him because he's a man too," or "oh, you can't love her because you're both girls."? Dumbledore also changes their memories so they believe that Rose is their own daughter. As she grows up, Rose learns nothing about the wizarding world, or her true identity. That is until she turns 11, and a letter arrives to invite her to Hogwarts. So I had the idea of writing a version of the story where Harry was born a girl, but there are loads like that already, so I thought I would try instead doing a kind of LGBTQ+ version where he is transformed and then has to deal with experiencing this difference of gender identity. But I'm not very knowledgeable about all the gender identity stuff, so I'm sorry if I get anything wrong, and please feel free to message me so I can try and fix it. This is my WIP novel that is currently undergoing some of its final editing stages. Any and all comments, fixes, thoughts, and constructive criticism is welcome! Four roommates all begin to find love at the same time. Isabel, new to the group and the real world, moves in to meet Candace, a very forward lesbain who immediately takes a liking to her. Isabel, who has never considered queerness before is nervous and off put, but intrigued by Candace anyway. Arianna builds walls around her that are typically very tough to break through. She uses her asexuality as a shield to protect her - if she believes no one will want her because of her sexuality she can ignore that someone may not want her for her heart. Two men, Emmett and Finn, start breaking through these walls though, and she has to figure out who she's going to pick before things get messy. Raylieghn is free-spirited and very sure of herself. She does what she wants, when she wants. But she's constantly running into trouble with the girl-next-door, Brooke, who she has undeniable chemistry and tension with. Zari tends to feel out of place and a little left out - while they love their friends and share their queerness, no one around them understands their experience with gender identity. When they meet Max at their new job, they have an immediate connection with him that changes all of that entirely. This is a multiple POV book with four main characters. *Each of the main four characters (Isabel, Arianna, Raylieghn, and Zari) will have their own novels - this is intended to be a five-book series*
