There are many worlds other than our own, and they're all coming to an end. A pyroserpant by the name of Jokul wants them all for himself, including ours. To do so, he plans on burning everything to the ground and starting a new. In fear that he might use their son, James, a phoenix, Lady Ariel, an eagle of life, hid him from Jokul, putting him in the safe hands of the revolutionary in hopes that he never lays a finger on him. When he was old enough to watch out for himself, they sent him to Earth to warn them of Jokul if he were to show his face. Now at age 17 and in high school, James is introduced to his first crush whom just transferred to his school, Emily. Emily loved to sketch and always carried a sketchbook around with her at all times. She didn't feel right without one. After school, he offered to walk her home, and luckily for him she agreed, but it was not to last. Heading out of the school grounds, Jokul had arrived at Earth and began his rain of fire. The revolutionary came and save both of them and any other human survivors, but their luck to save anyone ran thin. Now, James and Emily must make the choice of either taking refuge in the vault, or stand up and fight in the revolution to put an end to Jokul once and for all.
