It's been a year since the Time Link War and Vora still doesn't quite fit in at the Dragonhide Castle. He has sworn his loyalty to Cynthia and the Royals, but everyone is still afraid of him. Lucius Dragonhide is back from the shadows. He has a problem of his own, but what he once thought was a curse has proven to become a gift. After seven years of careful planning, Lucius is ready to take his plan into action and take back what he believes is his. All he wishes is to remove the beast from the picture of his perfect kingdom. 

Rita Scythe is still struggling to get over Levi's death, and, even though Vora tries, he doesn't make it easier. When a certain Dragonhide returns from the prisons, she does everything she can in her power to keep him away from Cynthia. All she wishes is for her to learn to love Vora like everyone else seems to be, and for Cynthia to realise that Rita is not the one in charge of tugging the beasts chain.
