I decide to get some ice cream by myself since Ash is out with some new guy. When I get there I see the last person I'd ever expect to see.
"Well look what the cat dragged in," I say as I sit next to him.
"You hung up on me. Very rude Angel." I giggle and shake my head. "What was so important that you couldn't spare and extra minute for your old pal Kal." I crack up at that.
"First," I say calming down, "we aren't old pals and second I had to babysit I was on the verge of being late." He nods and puts up both hands in surrender.
"Ok, fair enough Angel." I roll my eyes. "And don't tell me not to call you Angel because I'll do it regardless.' I roll my eyes and order a banana split. I go for my wallet and he snatches it away and pays for it himself.
'Hey!" I say snatching it back.
"I was raised to never let a lady pay for her food."
"Were not out together," I say smirking.
"Even if it's by chance." He smirks. "What if I told you our meeting isn't by chance. What if us meeting here today and the first day we met was planned out since the moment we were born? What if it's fate?" I laugh.
"I'd say you were crazy as hell." He chuckles.
"Believe what you want angel." He locks eyes with me. "I love your eyes. Their so green." I blush. He smiles. "Do you believe in magic? You know the impossible?"
"I don't know," I say as I grab my banana spilt the guy hands to me. "I do believe in soul mates thou." He smiles even wider.
"Your mine." I laugh.
"Nice pick-up line."
"We'll see Angel." He grabs a spoon and takes a bite of my ice cream.
Juliet didn't believe in fate. She didn't believe in angels or demons, but that was before she met Kal. Before everything changed.

Its only until she touches the wings that she realises that they are very much real. Within an instant, Mira's life is turned upside down. Knowing now that angels and demons are real and have been living amongst humans on earth for decades, she decides she needs to learn more about them and about the sight that she was gifted by this mysterious angel, Jenziel. One other thing bothered Mira. Where were the other women with the sight and why was she the only one to be gifted the sight? Did it have something to do with the broody, burly, yet strikingly handsome fallen angel who undoubtedly looked like he was dying to kill her? With Lucifer's demons hunting her down, time is running out for Mira. If Lucifer get his hands on her, he will use her to spawn more advanced demons. Can the fallen keep her and the rest of the mortals safe? Excerpt: "So, are you planning on telling me what happened in the city with the demons, or do I have to tempt Kazier into a make out session to get some answers?". Azriel's eyes dropped to where my fingers were gripping onto and slowly, he snaked his vision up to me. I watched him for a few seconds until he seemed to have snapped out of his thoughts. "You will do no such thing, you hear me? You will not try to entice Kazier". I shivered when he spoke, his breath tickling my face. ... I didn't know what to do... so I did nothing. There I was, sprawled onto the ground. Just looking at the sky. Wishing... praying... pleading that it would lift me up and take me far away. "Grab that plate and throw it on the floor." I told him, handing him a plate. "Why am I---" "Just do it!" I yelled, trying to hold back the tears. He looked at me and took the plate from my hand, making careful moves so he didn't touch the tips of my fingers. "Throw it on the ground." I told him. I watched as he threw it down on the ground, pieces of one of my moms plates going everywhere. "Okay. Now what?" He asked me, a hint of impatience in his voice. I walked up to him so we were old inches apart, our noses almost touching. It would be so easy to just kiss him right now.... "Now say your sorry." I whispered to him, letting a tear slip.
