How would you stop a mind-changing virus without infecting yourself? Is it even possible? Bryce thought sudden mysteries were over now that ONE was done. But this is only the beginning... Now, Bryce managed to find a well-paying job after the first year or so, and currently lives in a small one-story house in Rhode Island because of his new job, that being a cashier at a pharmacy, which he himself often confuses with being an actual pharmacist. One day, Bradley Silva invites himself and his son over to Bryce's house. The father and son immediately go out to fish. When twins Skylar and Jake were born, their scientist parents used them as an experiment. Each was injected with a dose of serum that would supposedly make them much stronger, smarter, simply better than other kids. But somebody added a chemical that changed the effects of the serum. As a result each twin got only half of the traits they were originally supposed to get. Skylar got the strength and speed while Jake got the brains. When they realized what had happened, the twins' parents immediately put them up for adoption, so neither one knew of the other. 12 years later Skylar is constantly failing all her classes, and Jake is getting bullied because he is so much weaker than other kids. But then Skylar's adoptive family decides to move across the country to find a new school for their daughter, which happens to be the school Jake goes to. They meet completely by accident.
