The prestigious 'Monahan Whiz' competition held every four years at Stanford brings only the very best of University Seniors around the United States.

But one fateful morning puts an entire department under siege by a group of trained specialists with intent on using the Champion Student in a malicious ploy. Among those in the group is none other than the beauteous, psychotic Elena Travosky.

But when a familiar Underground team ambushes the hostage situation, Chambers is stunned to find a familiar, yet unlikely, face in the team he met five years before.
