"Oh, you here? I did not expect that Twolegs come here. Welcome to StarClan, a wonderful place for all the dead cats.
Am I rude, I forgot to introduce myself. I am Puppetspirit, first and former head of the Tribe of Peace. And as you can see I'm dead. You see the world from below, all these cats who train, hunt and discuss in this forest belong to my tribe. They have become the bravest warriors I've never seen before my death.
But let me tell you the story of my tribe, or should I leave the Lake of Knowledge Your telling ...."

A fire. Caused by twolegs. And suddenly Nightpaw's entire life as she knows it has changed. The four clans that had ruled the territories for centuries have been wiped out. Now the future for any sort of clan rests in the paws of four apprentices. They will need to find a new territory, a new place to communicate with StarClan and, most importantly, cats to form a clan with. Will they survive? This story is set many moons after the great cats during Firestar's time were around. Also, any arcs after the first arc did not happen. You don't understand. What IS my place?" Zinniapaw huffed in exasperation. "How am I supposed to feel any sort of loyalty towards the cats of this clan when most of them don't even glance in my direction?" "Loyalty to your clan is not to be questioned, 'paw." He sighed. "WindClan comes above everything else." Rising from the Ashes
The four Clans-GrassClan, OakClan, PineClan and WillowClan-have lived in relative balance since the Clans began. They kept separate, save for their Gathering every full moon. While they had their disagreements, they kept a relatively harmonious existence. They had always been four Clans and it was believed that they always would be. For as long as they kept the warrior code alive, the Clans would continue to thrive. That's when the troubles began. One long, hot, dry greenleaf, a fire swept through GrassClan. Some cats were lost but those that survived resumed life in their now scorched territory. They knew that life was going to be harder than ever, but they could not abandon the only home they had ever known. The next couple of seasons, GrassClan struggled to feed themselves with little prey to be found. Yet, they refused to give up. Newleaf found GrassClan weak and starving but with hope on their horizon. Their oldest queen had moved into the nursery. Then, disaster struck a second time. Greencough swept through the Clan, snuffing out the new lives before they had even begun. The dreaded sickness left its mark, stealing the future of the Clan and all hope with it. Life had taken its toll on GrassClan. All that remained were their young leader, their deputy, their elderly medicine cat, one warrior and three elders. They had no apprentices, no she-cats and no kits. The once vibrant Clan was on the brink of dying out. The four Clans would soon be no more. Then, at the next Gathering, StarClan brought a message to the Clans: GrassClan must survive. There had always been four Clans and that could not change. They proposed that volunteers from the other three Clans should join GrassClan to help restore it. Cats were given one moon to consider the offer.
