I look at all three of them before I turn around to head inside. My three boys. So handsome. Each in their own unique way. Lane was sitting on the couch hunched over on his laptop, typing 138822 words a minute. Damon was yelling profanities at whatever football game was on the TV screen, not even sitting because he was too excited. Blake was sitting in the chair, laughing at Damon, then took a glance at me. I half smile and he smiles wide making his baby blue eyes pop. My heart skipped a beat. It's been skipping a lot of beats lately. I stop smiling. The thought of this makes me sad again. Blake's grin fades fast when he notices. He shifts his weight and looks uncomfortably back at the TV screen. I finally turn around and head to my room.
Why? Why did I have to have a thing for them?! I hate my stupid heart. Blake was such a GOOD boyfriend. Here I am falling for his roommates. For MY roommates. He would die if he knew this was the reason I couldn't be with him anymore. He would die if he knew Lane hugs me like he never wants to let go. He would die if he knew Damon innocently kisses me in the hallway every time we have drunken card game nights. And he would die even harder if he knew that I was falling for both of them.
But he doesn't.
And neither do they.
And I'm not sure how long I can keep it that way.
