Rose grew up in a country that was plagued by the undead. When her family is killed she is sent to live with her grandmother, the best friend of the old Queen of the United Kingdom. When Rose arrives she becomes a lady in waiting of the ward of the King of the United Kingdom. As Rose becomes friends with the nobles there she is taught how to kill the undead, and her friend group and she discover the past and how the undead were made they learn about deadly alliances that could mean none of them are safe.
