Gaia has several cycles. At the time, it left behind its Karmic phase of Tests and Atonements and is going to the Regeneration cycle, where only spirits of high vibrational frequencies may continue in the surface of the planet, due to a compatibility issue. It is  the transition from the Piscean Age to the Aquarian Age.

When the evil Pitch Black threatens the children of the world, (Y/N) and Jack are chosen as two new Guardians to defend them. The only problem is, nobody trusts (Y/N), and nobody takes Jack seriously. As a shadowy past threatens to overtake Cupid, she must confront the darker parts of herself or lose the person she cares most about in the world. Note: please don't read this one if you're under 16, 15 absolute minimum. It's not appropriate and it makes me very uncomfortable to see actual children in my comment section. Please respect that and come back when you've grown up a little, I'm not going anywhere and neither is this fic. Update: this is now on both AO3 (@hollybell51) and tumblr (@hollybell51) in a much more refined version, different tense and narrative voice and everything. It's a million times better in every single way, plot, characters, writing, literally everything. Please consider going and checking those out, it'd mean a lot to me. *I don't own any of the characters, I don't own the film, and I don't own most of the events. They're property of dreamsworks. I also don't own the concept of Cupid!Reader, I don't know who did that first.* I suck at descriptions I promise this is a cool story though.

They might have lived on Earth in their past lives or another planet. And there are people who have testified about their out-of-body or near-death experience. They are witnessing the fact that the human body and soul exist separately. When a human dies, the body becomes a part of nature, but the soul seems to enter the non-material spiritual world and wait for reincarnation. The main character of this novel was an ordinary young man, but his soul was kidnapped by Grays. He turned into a Gray alien and was sent to the planet Merion, where he lived for more than 50 years. It's the early of the 21st century when she starts getting visits by a dark spirits long forgotten. With plans of chaos in his dark mind, she is quick to approach the Guardians only to find herself tangled into their war. Will the new Guardian known as Jack Frost offer her some comfort? Or will Pitch Black manage to bring her to his side? (In this story, the main pair is Gaia x Jack Frost, but will be one sided psychotic attraction from Pitch across the chapters. An unhealthy obsession towards the OC)

Our planet had been on the way to destruction same as many others. However, we were able to turn it around but not without major irreversible genetic damage. It had been many years since a new female has been born on Uvis. We had set out and tried many other planets to find suitable breedable females. After much testing only one planet would work. Gaia or as the inhabitants called it Earth. We had been testing certain ones quietly. Working with their planet's leaders for a few years and have gotten the okay to reach out to the females of this planet. Everything was fine one day the next we kept losing power and then the announcements form the leaders and from an actual freaking alien! The offer was a good one for some, but could they be trusted? What would happen to the women who went to Uvis would they be treated well? Was it just a way to reduce the Earth's population so it was easier to take over? This is the same universe as Owned by them. New characters and a newer more civilized way of acquiring new females. This one is a bit more mature. I was writing this at the same time as the other. I have 23 chapters I am editing
