They never really realized it, but they were quite similar. Tord and Tom, arch nemeses since forever. After the giant robot incident, things changed, however. They were no longer in contact at all. Just strangers to one another, Tord was gone and it was better that way. Right?
Although, with Edd's kind nature, Tord was back. He was forgiven by everyone, except Tom.

He knew this voice. He knew he did. But he kept walking. He meets with Tord and agrees to join his army, in return, he gets treated for his eye cancer. Soon Tord confesses to Tom. But they are not complete without the two co-founders. A letter Tord gets reunites the group together. The whole group goes though tons of ups and downs, but they still recover. Too broken to fix (TomTord)
After 'The End', Edd, Matt, and Tom moved into apartments. After a while, Edd and Matt got closer and shared an apartment to save more money. They won three lotteries, which gave them enough money (with extra) to buy a new house or to rebuild the old one. This all happened in five months, people who knew what happened to them would consider them very lucky. Though they thought that Tord died during the incident, they would think of him from time to time and they would be sad. Especially Tom, whenever he thought about the communist he would try his best to get him off his mind. Though, no matter what he did, he never succeeded. He felt horrible for killing him.
