Hidden Feelings Book 1 (Poetry) (Journaling)
It's just a bunch of songs I wrote when I was feeling mad or sad or extremely happy and motivated. Their just a bunch of lyrics formed from my emotions. I mean I was trying to figure out how to express myself so I started using rhymes to begin with. I mean some songs don't only have rhymes but most of my songs are rhymes with 4 or 6 lines and their all original works of mine so don't bother trying to steal them or anything. Also this is an add on I've started writing journal entries in here as well and I may put my two books together. My 'Ange's Journal', and 'Hidden Feelings' together. I don't know why, it's just a spur of the moment thing and a feeling I had. These are all my experiences and thoughts I've had but never said out loud. [COMPLETED] "Shoot," Joey mumbles, letting out a string of profanities under his breath. We turn around to find a group of men, all with guns, standing where we just came from, and they look pissed... probably because they were forced to run through this tunnel after us. "Thought you could get away, didn't you?" The man who I saw before asks. His husky voice booms in the hollow tunnel, reverberating off of the dirt walls. His voice sounds familiar, and a realization strikes me. It sounds like the man from my dream. I remember him holding a gun and wearing a blue suit, smiling evilly at me. "Leave us alone," Joey says, sounding dangerous and snapping me out of my thoughts. The levity of the situation hits-we need to get out of here. I look around for a route of escape and thankfully I see a light, literally, at the end of the second tunnel. I let out a small, almost inaudible, gasp and nudge Joey. He looks at me and I subtly gesture with my head to the second tunnel. He glances at it and immediately we are on the same page. His jaw sets and he looks at the group. The man speaks up again, chuckling darkly-a sound I will never forget and will be permanently etched into my brain, "You can thank your father for starting this mess." -------------------------- Liza was a normal teenaged girl, living the average life that an eighteen year old girl should be living. She had good friends, good grades, a happy family, a loving boyfriend, and an overall content life, seemingly having everything a person could ask for. This is my original story but there are some similarities to her's, so please go show her stories some love because she definitely deserves it. Runawaying from Redshore city wasn't my plan but I felt trapped in that city. You never could make it unless you had connections or were from a famous family and that's not how I wanted it to go. I love to sing and my best friend got me into dance. Now I love going with the flow and letting the music take over my body. I ran away from my home with nothing but my skateboard, guitar and a back full with anything I could shove inside of it. Now I live in a studio apartment, making my own songs with choreography for them and casually posting the audio of the song or the actual dance video on the internet because why not. I work at a skate shop to help pay my bills and to stay out of trouble with the police since I've gotten in trouble with them a couple of times for street performing without a license. But like my best friend used to say, "You're only in trouble if you get caught" and I never did, so now I just chat up with them to pass some time or to help someone. When I heard of a singing competition I thought it couldn't hurt. I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy.
