Blood, Sweat, and Tears (and Volleyball)
Modern AU CaitVi (from Arcane) fanfic Caitlyn Kiramman has been playing volleyball since before she could talk. It's her past, present, and future. It's her senior year at Piltover Academy, and she needs to make sure that it's her best. As team captain, she has the opportunity to build a team that will sweep the competition and make her mother proud. She can't afford any distractions. Violet Lane, Vi, is a girl with a chip on her shoulder. There are only two things in life that she cares about: volleyball and her family. She has never been good at making friends, but it will be even harder now that she is being forced to transfer to Piltover Academy for her senior year of high school. Not only will she be the new kid at school, but she will also have to attend a school full of snobby wealthy kids who will look down on her. Caitlyn and Vi are not a good pairing, but their love for their sports has forced them together. Will Caitlyn be able to shape Vi into the player that she needs on her team in order to reach her dream? Could she somehow chip away at the walls that Vi has up? Could it maybe lead to more? Through the Goalposts
This story has stupidity, student suffering, and suppressed emotions. It follows Lachlan Mills, a 17 year old boy, as he struggles with his last year of high school, expectations, sports (mainly AFL), friendships, feelings, and a whole lot of idiocy. This is set in Australia so I'll defo put glossaries at the end of each chapter in case you don't know what something means. There's a lot of bad language in this, it's pretty realistic for Aussie high schools though so sorry in advance. There are some serious themes like mental health, but a solid amount of humour too. Also this is technically bl, it'll take a while to get there tho but trust. (I will edit this when i figure out the extent of everything this story covers.) Also i migth change this to mature age rating later. His best friend Eden is having problems with her boyfriend and Danae slowly develops feelings for her. They hang out and play video games once a week, which is the highlight of his weeks. He doesn't want to jeopardise his friendship by telling Eden he has romantic feelings for her, until he gives in shortly after their shared kiss. Btw I imagine Danae similar to Cole from the Netflix Series: My Life With The Walter Boys. And I imagine Eden to look like a brunette version of Sarah from Outer Banks.
