"Keith! Keith!"

Lance staggers through the dead forest, a hand gripping his injured thigh. He tries not to look at the metal wire sticking out of it, and the blood dripping down his leg. He can barely walk straight. He keeps yelling his fellow Paladin's name. It doesn't take long for one of the shouts to break and for Lance to fall to his knees, sobbing, crashing his fist against the ground.

He had known that an answer would not come. He had seen what happened with his own eyes.

Keith is dead.
