Tom's parents promised him that going into space to explore a new world far from our own solar system would be a great adventure.
Of course, they didn't mention that for most of the trip he would be frozen and sleeping in a metal tube. And when he was allowed out, it would only be to do chores and fix broken machinery. And that there would be no pizza, and no room to really throw a baseball.
But Tom has just woken up, and something is wrong. The ship is dirty. It smells like goats. And he's all alone.
At least he thinks he is...

My brother the 10 year old genius
We're about 4 years apart, he's only 10 years old and still the smartest person I know. I'm 14 years old, and starting my first year of high school. And may I just say, what a great way to start the year off by first having all the parents be abducted by aliens. Compared to the rest of our family it makes me feel stupid, but then compare me to our parents and my IQ goes from stupid to at least average. Our mom is pretty smart, my dad isn't that smart, and sounds like he really only cares about ducks. People make fun of him for being so smart, but I love him, most days anyways. He's my best friend and he says I'm the coolest big sister he's ever had, to be clear I'm the only sister he's ever had. He has one of those space HQs one of those bigger on the inside tiny on the outside, and invents all and everything. Including our dog, I'm allergic to anything that sheds, but have always wanted a pet, so he made me one himself. I just wish he'd ask me first before he tests his experiments on me. The Patriot I: The Awoken
A retired pilot had thought she'd seen it all, until she's asked to become part of the first crew for a spaceship destined to land on a new planet. ✫ ✬ ✫ ✬ Genevieve Autumn considered herself retired. She had served her time in the Air Force as a pilot, and in the Army as an officer. At least, she considered herself retired until she found herself on board the Patriot I, one of the first two spaceships to ever leave Earth. The Patriot I is a smaller, weaponized ship with a tough crew to escort the Pioneer, a ship full of humans meant to colonize the far-away planet Z-031. The main issue is that Z-031 is thousands of years away. Even with Earth's advanced technology, it will take three hundred years to arrive. The Pioneer is a Generational Ship, meant to survive in flight for so long. The Patriot is not. The crew will have to be cryogenically-frozen within the ship, asleep in flight for three centuries. As soon as Genevieve opens her eyes after centuries of being asleep, everything goes wrong. The crew remains asleep. The ship doesn't have enough power to sustain them. Her mind is turning against her with the side-effects of the cryogenic-freezing sleep. Lastly, there are enemies lurking just outside the hull of her ship. Genevieve is losing track of what is happening, but what she knows for sure is that none of it is what she signed up for. After many failed attempts to remove the spore infection and the intelligent lifeforms that brought it known as the Irinaut, several large ships were sent into space to save the human race, but some people remained. Those who stayed, either had no choice in the matter or were part of the expedition crews. The people who were looking for some sort of cure all. Some, scientists looking to communicate or even experiment on the Irinaut race. Though it wasn't only the infection they had to worry about. Infected Irinaut were aggressive, and finding one without the sickness at this point was seeming out of reach with no hopes of communicating. That is, until now. A group of soldiers had been left with a task of transporting precious cargo. After several facilities being attacked by the estranged Irinaut, a young soldier known as Raven, finds herself curious to why this Irinaut is so important in finding. The being wasn't like other's any of them had seen. They wanted to know how it was possible in the world that was nothing but desert, and infection. 0-Sa was also alone, which was unusual for the species. The Irinaut became valuable quite quickly, having found no spore infection visibly on him. The team had one job, obtain and return the creature alive, but they would soon come to find out that the cargo would be more difficult to transport than they thought. A massive alien ship and a human in a small pod, in cryogenic sleep, thousands of light-years away from earth. What could go wrong and how will he get back to earth? -------------------------------------- Notes: I felt tired one day and thought that I could use a long nap. This story is a result of that thought. I didn't use any movies or series for inspiration, the story is my original work. Holy fart, it just keeps going. It's like some never ending madness of comical dipshittity gone horribly awry. You know what would make this even crazier?...2 Gregs, a full crew body swap, an expected crew death, a final dream-machine spiral to end all dream machine spirals, a gay cruise, a literal witch-hunt involving eggs and a grown-woman who think she's a cat. If that's not enough, we got a show within a show, disguised as another show, a psychic granny that someone is going to fall in love with, and it's not who you think. More game shows, and someone is about to blow the lid off some Myths and nobody is going to need rescued next season or anything.Complete
The Abyss of Time
Twenty years after the end of the Cyborg War, the last cyborgs try to hijack a starship on its way to terraform an alien world. They want the new colony to be a cyborg colony in which they will rebuild their strength and practice their way of life. During the fighting, though, the starship is damaged, so that instead of travelling light years across space it ends up a billion years in the future, alongside a planet Earth that is near the end of its life. The cyborgs, momentarily defeated, leave the ship in a captured landing craft and go down to the planet, but before they go they sabotage the ship so that it is no longer able to support life. The crew have no choice but to follow them down to the planet where they have to fight not just the cyborgs but also forms of life a billion years more evolved than humans. Creatures that have grown tough and hardy in an attempt to cope with the increasingly harsh conditions that prevail there. As if things weren't bad enough, there is conflict among the ship's crew as they fight to decide which of them will be in charge and how they will meet the challenges facing them, and even if they survive all this they will still have to deal with the discovery of the ultimate fate that awaits all intelligent life in the universe...Complete

Every three years a group of two-hundred teens get sent to Earth. After spending two years on Earth, you can choose to go back onto the Ark or to stay on Earth. Most don't survive the first week. They get to either join a Clan, create a new Clan or go solo. If your name is called out, you have to go down. You have no choice. Almost everyone joins a Clan or makes a new Clan. Nobody goes solo, unless you absolutely have to. Or if no Clan accepts you. Every animal on Earth wants to kill humans, they have all mutated after the Nuclear War, all the ones that survived, and are out for human flesh and blood. Bastien Water's name gets called out during the Choosing and he has to try to survive on Earth. While his family grieves thinking that Bastien won't survive but he's out to prove them wrong. Bastien meets new people, makes some friends and make some enemies. Bastien has to face many challenges to survive on Earth. Will he be able to do it?
