"Oh I'm asking you exactly what you think I'm asking." I answered briskly.
He gave me a long, hard look. "You know I can't tell you that."
"Why can't you, Ben?" I asked, my eyes narrowed.
"I just...it's a little hard to explain alright?" He asked, seeming to lose what I once thought was his everlasting patience.
"What is a little hard to explain?" I hollered.
"I'm not what I say I am, alright?" He yelled back.
Silence filled the air, as I stared, wide eyed, at Ben.
"I'm not...I'm not what you think I am." He said, his voice quieter.
