This is my own personal version of how our lovable Dr. Harleen Quinzel fell in love with the psychopathic clown known as The Joker. This will be a dark story. I mean, it is about Joker and his story isn't a pretty one. There will be dark, mature themes in this book. It is not for the faint of heart. That being said, if you are not comfortable with this, then skip those parts. I will have them marked, and I will leave subtle hint, so you get the basic gist of what happened. This full-length novel is based roughly on the Suicide Squad movie storyline but explores what could have been if Dr. Quinzel didn't become her alter ego Harley Quinn. It's full of explicit sex, violence, strong language, and, in one instance, a sexual assault, while insisting on presenting the characters in realistic situations and interactions. This novel also has an exciting sequel (Never Let Go) that explores Joker's history and how he came to be who he is.
