In the kingdom of Astydien, scientific achievements and tranquil peace flourish. Every year, The King of Astydien commences a ceremony to graduate cadets training to be part of the elite group defending the kingdom. This year was finally his turn, and Vern Hughes is nervous as all hell. Days pass, with more mundane routines to follow, until something happens that shakes him up. He must get to the bottom of it, before things take an even steeper turn for the worse.
