"Find her!" the man's voice booms. The sounds of many footsteps and many yelling voices follow me. I dodge the thick tree branches and large boulders as I dash through the thick forest.
They were all looking for me.
"Don't let her escape!" another man's voice is barking orders in the distance. Their flashlights blink in wild directions as they run, flashing in all directions. My throat grows incredibly dry and I stop a good ways away from the area they're searching.
I've been running for miles away from the containment ward. They were using us as subjects of research. I don't remember how I got in there in the first place.
I don't even remember my name. I couldn't tell what time it was, but I knew it had been a while since I had a break; I left around noon and it's now incredibly dark, the only light was the stars and moon. A loud banging noise echoes through the forest, and I just barely spot a bullet flying past my face.
"I found her!"One of them yells. Gasping, I break into full sprint in the opposite direction of the shooting.

She doesn't know when, why, or how she got there, or who locked her up. But something inside her told her that the escape was necessary.
She escapes the containment breach she was located in, guarded by hundreds of thousands of armed government forces, only to be captured again, and is unable to escape. But this time, it's by a completely different force group.
"The Varying"
Their leader doesn't trust her for a second, thinking that she's nothing for a spy for the Government.
Oh, how wrong he is.
