There's a story behind this. One that floats from the mouth of storytellers to the mouths of mothers threatening her children. Everyone has their own version though there is only one person with the true story...

On a late summer evening a bastard child was born. Even though the father was unknown the mother still held her child with loving arms. "Vescuel", she said. That's what the mother named her baby. Little did the mother know that her baby was no ordinary child. Later that night after going through birth the woman's household slept, yet the outside world did not. You see someone else knew of the woman's birth just like they knew of the child. Sneaking in, the household was quietly killed off. One by one. Only the mother and her child remained. WARNING: THIS BOOK HAS MAJOR PLOT HOLES, AND IS ALL TOGETHER VERY BAD. I SUGGEST YOU READ MY NEW BOOK, Skeletons In My Closet. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED. When they slowly cut my skin, I didn't scream, when I felt their blades lightly drag across my stomach and legs I didn't shake. This was my life and I was used to it. It was fine. When they slowly cut my skin, I didn't scream, when I felt their blades lightly drag across my stomach and legs I didn't shake. This was my life and I was used to it. It was fine. When his red stamp hit my card, I couldn't dare look. But those red letters attacked my eyes; Weak. ---------------------- This was the Alpha playing with his food. I could imagine how he would stalk to me, his head high with all his teeth showing. His pure white fur not being touched by the dust he had created when he chased after me. I can only imagine how every step for him would be a leap for me. That blood would hang from his mouth and drip onto the forest floor but not even faze his fangs. I was terrified of him. Even if I couldn't bring myself to mention it, to be weak and choose to submit. These thoughts kept me running, the invisible echo of a laugh that wasn't really there stayed in my ear, even though he was nowhere to be. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• He was terrifying, but yet, at he same time he was safe. AU: I STARTED WRITING THIS 2 YEARS AGO. ITS NOT THE BEST STORY.

Iris has had a difficult life, running from her past and living like a nomad. She is not a regular wolf. She curses the Moon goddess for the gifts she possesses. The ability to heal others. At least that is what she tells herself and her best friend Aria. she wants nothing to do with being a wolf. She barely shifts, does not believe in mates, and hates everything that has to do with packs. And she shows her disregard. With a foul mouth and attitude to match, she is always landing herself and her traveling companion, Aria, in trouble. Until one day she runs into a pack of ancient wolves, rumored to be extinct. The first wolves made by the Moon goddess, and finds out the Alpha of the pack is her mate. And of course, she wants nothing to do with him, and he wants everything to do with her. But He is not one to be toyed with, brutal and heartless( and that's just being modest). He refuses to let her disrespect him and will go to any extent to ensure she submits to his every will. Thankfully, she can't die. But a war is coming, and it's out of this world. Malik and Iris are the only ones that can stop it, and they don't know it yet. Will they be able to push their differences away and let the Moon goddess finish what she started, or will they be to pig-headed and stubborn to fall in love?
