People believe that Everguard was a ruthless, destructive place, filled with selfish and rude people. Others insist that the city was a compassionate, helpful community. Of course, nobody knows if either of them are true. After all, Everguard is just a myth, isn't it? - The story of Everguard is rather interesting, it was ruled by a King, neither caring nor selfish, he knew what to do at just the right moments. But the King was getting fragile, and overtime everybody makes enemies right? Well, many years before, a witch had an argument with the King. Leading her to cast a spell over the citizens. For they would not grow weak and old. They would be stuck in the body of an 18 year old. There was also a rumour spreading around that the city of Pantherus was planning to attack the city. Therefore, the King had created an army. The Knights of Everguard.

In the year 2030, things have gone downhill. After another world war, most of the major cities in the world are empty and abandoned, due to bombings from the war. America - or more correctly the president of America - rules most of the world with an iron fist, imposing curfews and rules, causing the people to live in fear. But there are rebel groups, groups who call themselves the underground. Maria Wright finds herself thrown in with one of these groups, located near the ruins of London. Gaining a strong group of friends for herself, they all fight against the oppression they face. But their group is small, and their enemies powerful. But one day they find a strange man. A man who gives them hope. A man who might just be able to free them. A man called Arthur Pendragon. Is it possible that this is the same man who is the centre for many ancient legends? And if he is, can he help them?
