Nutpaw was born blind. She is being treated differently and given extra attention. Since she is the first fully blind cat to be training as a warrior, expectations are set so low for her, that she was expected to never actually be trained. Obstacles loom over her and enemies wait to see her fail at every turn. Every aspect of her training is very different from everyone else's. Her mentor must reinvent apprentice training that has changed very little throughout Clan history and Cobraeye knows he can't do this on his own. Her mother, Frostbee, harbours a secret that could possibly start a war

There's also 2 threats that wants to take over the forest and the Clans are keeping them right in their camp, but only a small group of cats know that but they won't tell because their lives are already at stake and have to run away and leave the all they've known.
