Heyyyyy so @LovetheHomestucks started an absolutely amazing EriSolKar fanfiction but unfortunately didn't finish it. SO if any of you wanted to see it and/or the rest of it, I will be rewriting it here! It will follow the same conflict and basic plot line but, as I am a writer, I will be adding my own individual flair! So enjoy!

She wasn't a straight A student, but she got decent grades and was relatively smart. Until she moved out of her parents' house, confident she could take care of herself, by herself. She got a small house in a small neighborhood in Starlight Springs, Colorado, and for the first three months of living there, with a decent job, she was relatively happy. She was an artist as a hobby; people would sometimes commission her online, and she'd make a little extra money. However, three months after she gets her job, she ends up getting fired. Her rent increases around that time, and things go downhill. She calls up an old friend of hers from ninth grade, and she settles in as Y/N's roommate. She was nice at first, until she started getting nosey. She wanted to know where Y/N was at all times, what she was doing, or who she was talking to. Y/N was getting sick of her, but she didn't think she could kick her roommate out without losing the house, so she endured her suffering, continuing to look for a job and draw. One day, she posted one of her art pieces on a Discord server, looking for people to commission her, and in the process, she met a certain man named Fell. --- HIYA! IT'S ME! Sollux was by the ocean, sitting on the dock one day. He doesn't really have the greatest life on land, he was fired from his job, he needed money to pay rent for his apartment, he didn't have many friends, and things just didn't work out for him anymore. As he gets up to leave from the dock, he falls into the ocean, but then he's saved by some mystery person and when he finds out it was a merman who saved him, he becomes great friends with him and finds out that his name is Eridan. But then, Eridan's father disapproves of their friendship and does something horrible. Sollux then finds Eridan with tons of cuts and bruises all over him, on the beach and helps him out. He does all of this while keeping him secret from everyone else except for his best friend, Karkat. After some time, he realizes that he can't stay on land if he wants to keep Eridan safe. Sollux will have to choose whether to stay on land and look for a different way to help him, or to become a merman himself and live in the water for the rest of his life.
