         Cassie Thompson is inquisitive, though many would call her nosy because she often pokes around where she isn't wanted. She can't help it and her curiosity only grows when four strangers show up unannounced in her small town and fling her life on a one way road to hell. 
         Bizarre phenomena replace Cassie's normal and boring day to day. Extraordinary creatures that shouldn't exist emerge left and right. Her nightmares are so real they come to life and try to swallow her whole. Even worse is the freakish connection she has with a mystical symbol and a disturbing book. 
         Is Cassie really as normal as she thinks she is, or is she the one she should be afraid of?
