Why Me?

Evangeline Summerton had always had a rough life. Her mother is a jobless tramp and abuses her physically and mentally and she doesn't even have a clue to who her father is. She's just a girl with a broken heart with her head always in romance novels, wishing that she could have a relationship like the ones written in the books she's read. But her life suddenly changes when she moves to Texas to live with her aunt and soon Beckett enters her life. They end up falling in love but two things stand in their way; their parents and Sarah. What will happen when Evie's mother and Beckett's father end up wanting to get married? How far will Sarah go to break them apart? What will happen to Evie and Beckett's love? Will Evangeline be able to handle the stress of her life or will see finally give into doing the unthinkable?
