"Why do the best people die? When you're in the garden, which flowers do you pick? The most beautiful ones. Exactly." °°° Spencer Evans blamed herself for picking one of the most beautiful flower in her garden. She was supposed to take love it, care for it, and she tried, but like every flower, they eventually wither and die. What's worse is she watched the flower die in her hands. Spencer and her dad moved to a new town to escape and start over. Her dad spent a lot of time not at home and Spencer was just trying to get through her senior year of high school. Her plan was to lay low and focus on her studies. She gets her mind off of things by walking into the lonely forest, trees opening a path to invite her in. One of the nights she goes out, a storm passes over her town. Not surprised, Spencer has a hoodie on. But it's not just rain. There's thunder and lightning. Out in the middle of woods, all alone on a cold and stormy night. The great escape from her old town results in Spencer finding herself on the porch of the one and only, Beckett Woods. ||not edited||

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We stepped out of the car and in front of us was a beautiful field of flowers. Why did he bring me here? "Do you see this?" "They look beautiful, how did I not know about this earlier?" They were a beautiful orange, reddish color, and didn't fit the ominous air of the town at all. Will almost looked sad with my reaction to the flowers: "Those are poppy flowers, Claire." I still looked at him with many questions, not understanding the bad thing about flowers. "We grow these many poppy flowers," he explained, "because they are the main ingredient for heroin, it's the entire reason my family and I moved here to this little shit town, it's the perfect and place to grow them." I didn't know how to react to this and I also didn't know how this would scare me off, which, I think, he was trying to do. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Claire's life is turned upside down when she bumps into the new boy, Will, at her school. People warn her about him, saying he's dangerous but they refuse to tell her why. Even though all the negative things said about him, she can't seem to stay away from him. When she discovers his dangerous secret, she has to make an important choice, because how far will she go for love? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
