15-year-old Connor unexpectedly dies in a car crash sending him into the afterlife which, in his case, is purgatory. But it's not quite what he expects. There he meets a boy named Lucas who died during WWII when the Nazis invaded his home in Amsterdam. After a while, the boys grow very close (if you know what I mean) and decide to try and change their fate and get to heaven.
