Eternally he slept in the abyss, unheeded by words of time. Eternally he remained, unaffected by the words of Fish, of Gods, and eternally he slept guarding the abyss. For he was the very nothingness the Fish and Gods had been born of, for he was the very abyss upon which he slept. Thus when the Gods came to him, it was with a mere thought that the Fish had been sealed. He craved sleep, nothing else. Yet again, they came and asked for more, and more, and more... but by then, he had even begun to ignore their pleas, their wishes, and their prayers. Yet still, the Goddess sang, a wordless, calming song, a lullaby to put even the abyss to sleep. And so he slept, listening to her eternal hums. Like that, he was content, willing to remain.
