Every thirteen years old children that have magic in there blood will be taken from there homes
To a school where they will learn how to master their elements and meet there dragons and but before they go to the said school they must pass a test they must touch an elemental gem and when the gem
Glows it means the child has passed otherwise it means they have failed.

Okay, so here's how it all began. Basically, teenagers have been vanishing across the country and no one has the foggiest idea what's going on (myself included). This is my first novel that I decided to write for people to see, I was told I was good at writing. Basically this novel is about elemental beings and mystical beings fighting against the demonic creatures of hell. The story is mainly action and adventure, has humour and a little bit of romance at few parts and corse language aka swearing and other insulting language. There is also gore and other types of violence in some chapters that are not sutible for children and can just gross people out. I hope you enjoy and there's always room for improvement if you have any suggestions. Enjoy and I apologize if I have spelling mistakes and all that stuff. Thank you!

Schools were built everywhere, and kids were moved up based on their age. My world was a little different, my brother and I were trained ever since we could walk; we were put into battle once we reached seven years old. Today my parents are transferring me and my brother to a new school, before we were homeschooled but since my dad and mom are going to be leaving for quite some time they thought it was best for us to go to a real school where we will interact with other groups."

I grew up in a world where dragon riders were revered for not only their bravery and looks, but also for their intelligence. Children would spend days on end studying just in the hopes that they would get accepted to the Rider School, and those who did get accepted left their homes like kings, followed with respect and well wishes. It had been years since a dragon rider had been accepted in the Rider School from my town, which was understandable since we boasted a population of only 100 kids in the acceptable age range. Every year we were visited by the Counselor, the man who decided who would be accepted, and every year at that time our town lit up. Festivities lasted the Counselor's whole stay, with competitions to test children's intelligence, stamina, strength, and looks set up to look like games. Every year my brothers and I would be disappointed by our results, until my 15th year, when everything changed....
