Evolution has taken us far, from the single cell organism we used to be to the top of the food chain. Where are we headed, though, what plans does evolution have for us? Technology decides that for us. We have created such self-sustaining technology that we no longer need to go to war with one another. We have created a world without hunger, poverty, prejudice all with the power of technology. We no longer need a sense of danger or empathy, and social interaction is completely unnecessary. It would be perfect if we were the secluded species we believe we are, but then again, we aren't the only things that evolve.

I wasn't special, I wasn't a marine or a scientist sent here from earth to study Pandora, I was a behaviorist-some say behaviorists are scientists too; but the brain isn't made up of mathematics and hope, it's like the roots of trees. Human Nature: Hive Mind
Depending on what part of the globe humanity lives on, a percentage of 1 to 6 percent of Neanderthal DNA lies in our genome. In Africa, Southeast Asian and Pacific Islander populations can be lower if at all. The point I am making - for modern humans to have any amount of early man genes in them, is proof that small groups of different humans competitively shared their lives - maybe for pure survival. There was a strong reason to live in small groups, but when more work together like hunting, more food could be eaten. The ancient lost civilizations archaeologist are digging up, they too live in small groups for many reasons. As they came together, small groups become tribes. To this very day, humanity has found ways to collect themselves for a better life. This is called, Interpersonal Intelligence - social skills. With the Internet as the leading and alarmingly fast-growing technology, our interpersonal intelligence has grown beyond simple social skills. Yes, many have stated, that we should not use it, but social networking is the aspect of the Internet that has evolved beyond anything in human history. Personal opinions have not altered what is called collective consciousness in today's human race or the technology that is driving it. The War of the Future
The year is 2050 and humankind is in an age of prosperity. The Sahara desert is now a lush farmland, the amazon is twice its original size, poverty is almost non existent, all cars are now electric, food is grown in huge urban farms, cancer has been cured and great strife's are being made technologically. The future of civilisation has never looked brighter, but in March 2050, a ginormous army of 500,000 people has appeared out of a huge ball of electricity, the size of Manhattan and their leader, General Hunter Padlock, speaks of a world where there are only 1 billion humans left, a world where humanity has fought a 40 year long war with malevolent machines, intent on butchering all humans, a world where humankind is suffering from starvation, desperation, panic and despair. We Eukaryotes
About 1.5 billion years ago, the single-celled eukaryotes became the common ancestors of all multicellular plants, animals, and fungi. Fish evolved a primitive lung sac and four limbs, 350 million years ago, so they could crawl between fresh water swamps. About 250 million years ago, the ancestors of all mammals, were tiny nocturnal insectivores and, about 6 million years ago, we began walking on two legs. The most recent Ice Age (2.6 million to 12,000 years ago), severely reduced rainfall in Africa, where Homo habilis was evolving. In Homo erectus (1.9 to 0.5 million years ago), cranial capacity increased to between 850 and 1000 cm3 implying the phenomenal increase of 125,000 more neurons with each generation. Between 70 and 50 thousand years ago, Homo sapiens spread out from east Africa. Then, about 20,000 years ago, evolution made a sharp change in direction. After 250 million years, we ceased to be hunter gatherers. The Neolithic Revolution meant we could never go back. Escaping the Monster's Embrace (OLD BEING REWRITTEN )
(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'.
