For six years, he didn't know I existed. Now, he does and he's not handling it very well.

Not quite a tale as old as time, but somewhere along those lines when Mommy left Daddy while she was pregnant with me. After being in debt for six years, she finally had the money to find our way back to Daddy.

But will he handle it well, seeing me for the first time; Not knowing I had ever existed?

Will he forgive Mom?

As I grow, I ponder the thought of him ever letting go of grudges and abandonment issues.

Will he ever love me?

I hope he does.

I wrote this when I was fifteen which is almost five years ago. I've GROWN as a writer from this soap-opera type of narrative. But I will publish and share this as a message to myself and to whoever sees this.
