If I could speak to a rose, there would be a few things I would say. For I picture some of the people in my life as roses, and roses as some of those people. This is what I wish I could say.

This is my story of falling in love, dealing with a roller coaster of emotions while caring for my husband through his illness, his passing, and living with my grief. Knowing the outcome, it was his choice to not receive a heart transplant.
