Dark vile creatures of the night.
Some say that they are mortals who have sold their souls to the devil. While others maintain that they are just the reincarnation of demons, damned to roam the godforsaken lands till the end of time. The arch enemy of all mortals, these blood thirsty mongrels have no place in the society, or so Miss Katrina Ainsworth maintains.
Vampires.
But how will she, as one of the most promising hunters of the Vampire Hunter's Association, cope with herself divided between her personal vendetta against these vile creatures, and an unpropitious partnership with the very overlord of them all?
Count Dracula, on the other hand, finds this uncalled for truce between the humans and the vampires, quite amusing.
AUTHOR'S NOTES: I know the elements used in this story sound very cliché. But nevertheless I'll go ahead with this plot because it is fun! And I have always wanted to write on vampires once-not as the pretty little Edward Cullens, but as the mighty dark beings that they are supposed to be-so I hope that I have managed to capture some part of the essence! Innocent Darkness
Vampires, The undead creatures that lurk in the night. They feed on the life essence of the living. Typically in the form of blood from other creatures. From the most notable vampire, Dracula, to the least favorite vampire, Edward Cullen. Over the years they've changed and adopted to meld with culture of modern society. I've read almost every vampire book, seen the movies and watched the television shows. They all have a similar underlying theme among all of them. Girl crosses path with hot vampire guy, the hot vampire guy is some eternal brooding guy and then they fall in love. Sometimes they have to face some epic fight or battle of sorts, but end the end it's a love story between human girl and vampire guy. I wish I could say my story started in 2016 when that fantasy world became a reality. A strange man came into a convenience store I worked at and my whole world instantly changed. I was thrown into a world of blood, politics and learned the hard way that vampires are NOTHING like what they are depicted as in works of fiction. Blood and Daggers
Ten years ago every creature, myth, and legend that you can think of, and some you have never heard of, decided to stop hiding and started attacking people.
