Dark vile creatures of the night.

Some say that they are mortals who have sold their souls to the devil. While others maintain that they are just the reincarnation of demons, damned to roam the godforsaken lands till the end of time. The arch enemy of all mortals, these blood thirsty mongrels have no place in the society, or so Miss Katrina Ainsworth maintains.

Vampires.
 
But how will she, as one of the most promising hunters of the Vampire Hunter's Association, cope with herself divided between her personal vendetta against these vile creatures, and an unpropitious partnership with the very overlord of them all? 

Count Dracula, on the other hand, finds this uncalled for truce between the humans and the vampires, quite amusing.



AUTHOR'S NOTES: I know the elements used in this story sound very cliché. But nevertheless I'll go ahead with this plot because it is fun! And I have always wanted to write on vampires once-not as the pretty little Edward Cullens, but as the mighty dark beings that they are supposed to be-so I hope that I have managed to capture some part of the essence!
