Spending the winter in Gravity Falls at their great uncles Mystery Museum wasn't what twins Mabel and Dipper Pines had planned to do. That was, until they found out how strange Gravity Falls is and once you set out to find its secrets, there's no going back.

Notes: There will eventually be a better summary, I promise this. I also do NOT own Gravity Falls (Alex Hirsch) or the AU, Gravity Rises (created by Sorophora).
This will follow some things from the tumbler blog on this AU (again, Sorophora is the creator of this AU) but I'll have things I think would happen in this story. Fair warning, I am NOT the best writer.
I know I had started this a really long time ago but I'm going to actually attempt to get back into writing this! When this will happen, I'm not sure.

The sun rises on a beautiful sunny summer day. Bill has been waiting for the perfect time to try again. Cast in stone, a statue in the forest of Gravity Falls, he had a lot of time to think. Then one night, the moon and stars lit the path for a familiar face, everything changed. The one who bested him, now growing up, worse for wear he'd turned to the arms of a demon in search of rest. Dipper Pines has been living in Gravity Falls with his Grunkles for eight years now. However, the apprenticeship was nothing like he was expecting. Nightmares getting worse and depression taking a nose dive Dipper finds himself spending his nights wondering the forest, that is till exhaustion over comes him and sleep pulls him into arms of stone. Summer is upon them, and with the twins 20th birthday rounding the corner Mabel takes the trip back to Gravity falls. All of his zodiac are in one place once again, it's the perfect time to make things a little weird. (This is an edited and updated version of my originally work, I've fixed some of the grammar and revamped the flow of the plot. Major details remain for the most part intact just better now that I have more writing experience. This is still definitely a BillDip story and will still be very gay, hopefully even more gay than the first time around.) Of course, it wouldn't be Gravity Falls if there wasn't a portal opening, a portal that had already opened in other places in the world, and that was now, in Gravity Falls.
