Spending the winter in Gravity Falls at their great uncles Mystery Museum wasn't what twins Mabel and Dipper Pines had planned to do. That was, until they found out how strange Gravity Falls is and once you set out to find its secrets, there's no going back.

Notes: There will eventually be a better summary, I promise this. I also do NOT own Gravity Falls (Alex Hirsch) or the AU, Gravity Rises (created by Sorophora).
This will follow some things from the tumbler blog on this AU (again, Sorophora is the creator of this AU) but I'll have things I think would happen in this story. Fair warning, I am NOT the best writer.
I know I had started this a really long time ago but I'm going to actually attempt to get back into writing this! When this will happen, I'm not sure.

The Boy Who Cried Werewolf
Four years after Weirdmageddon, Dipper, Mabel, Stan, and Ford return to Gravity Falls for the summer. Dipper and Wendy reconnect on a deeply personal and intimate level. Dipper and Mabel fret about their parents' upcoming divorce. Plans for the future are made: Dipper has finished high school early, and has won a scholarship to Miskatonic University, on the strength of his academic work, his granduncle Ford, and one of Ford's old colleagues and teachers at Miskatonic, Prof. Rick Sanchez. Mabel is still in high school, but has been doing advanced reading in psychology. Wendy and Dipper want to plan a future together. Mabel wants to move to Gravity Falls when she finishes university to open a craft store and counseling center. The Stans are thinking of continuing to travel the world investigating paranormal phenomena and producing a show about it all along the lines of Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom. However, an ancient evil threatens Wendy and Dipper, and all of the Pines clan's hopes for the future. I have no idea how long this will take to write. This is my first attempt at fanfiction. I recently discovered the Gravity Falls show, and so, of course I am late to the party-- late by several years. However, I wanted to try my hand at this. Too Soon
This story takes place during the events of the time traveller's pig during Dipper and Mabel's chase through time. Mabel makes a mistake that leaves the twins stranded in a snow storm. The two then discover secrets and revelations they were never meant to know yet. At first, they think there is no harm done, but they soon discover that knowing something too soon can cause consequences in the future and now they must decide if they want to keep the future they have created, or go back to the one they left behind. The questions I asked while making this this story were what if they change the timeline and cause their future to be altered? How do they fix it? How do they forget it?
