Her father marries Jeanine, an ambitious and cruel Erudite who will stop at nothing to get exactly what she wants. And what she wants is everything that Eliza has, including Eric. Jeanine begins a reign of terror over her life with abuse, control and the poisoning of all of her relationships. Will we find out what it truly means to be Divergent? They are more than what they appear. There are secrets, plots, and possible annihilation of the last of humanity......and all comes down to the once child hood sweethearts.
